 I took this picture in some brush in a gully between a cineplex in an outdoor mall and a housing development going up. When I looked at the pictures, I got the distinct impression of the 'amber waves of grain' in the National Anthem and thought the filter worked in this case - I don't usually like to play with photographs using this kind of filter.

Carla, I normally don't like this sort of thing, because i generally see them as contrived and obvious (like "hey here's a neat filter in photoshop, I'd better use it because it's there") but somehow you've avoided that. It may be the hue shift to purple or something..I'm not sure...but I love it. Abstract with a sort of Monet feel to it. VERY well done. thanks for posting it.
