Hey Aref, keep trying. This is a nice shot, and in a more appropriate challenge, would have scored much better.

In addition to entering a shot that meets the challenge better, you might look at this tutorial to prepare your entry for the challenge. Most voters will vote lower on entries that are less than 640 pixels on the longest side.

Tough lighting. You wound up with the island overexposed and the sky/water (especially in the upper right corner) underexposed. Is this a portrait?

portrait? looks like a landscape or seascape. technically there are areas that are over exposed

This is a beautiful shot, and I like how the sailboat shows in the background. Kinda a stretch, frankly, and in my opinion, of the "portrait" part of the challenge.

I'm sorry this is a nice picture but it is not a portrait from the English dictionary

"a pictorial representation of a person usually showing the face"
