Needs some separation between the subject and background (good DOF though). The subject should be a little lighter and have a little more contrast, the dark background is ok as is.

a lovely portrait, the pose and expression work very well. I think it could use a slight levels tweak as its a little dark? but the DOF, lighting, and sharpness are excellent

GREAT light direction! focus is dead on, nice and casual pose. good dof. she might be a tiny bit cool, but that might be my monitor. great portrait!
