Tell Don that's awfully damn bourgeois of him. The tones and DOF are definitely yours; the simple eloquence with depth to back it up is representative of your work as well.

This reminds me of xion, appealling on a purely visual level. Would it be bourgeois of me to mention that there seems to be some haloing on the foreground link?

Not sure what's going on in the background, but it looks kind of odd. Throwing me off a bit. Great detail on your foreground. I like the monochromatic tone.

nice shot but the depth of field and monotoned coloring really kinda flattened the photo out a bit too much for me.

There are quite a lot of pictures of chains in this challenge. Yours at least has the benefit of being technically good. I like the texture on the near links, the blackness of your shadows, and the shallow depth of field.
