 This photo was taken in a roofed, open-air dance pavillion at the Choctaw Indian Fair with no lighting except what was coming in from a weak late afternoon sun. The other children were dancing with enthusiasm but the little girl in yellow was in her own dreams.

No editing except a little contrast adjustment. I probably should not submit this to an "advanced editing" (particularly since this is my first submission and I don't know what I'm doing) but I liked the way the picture felt so here goes whatever.

I absolutely love this photo and gave you your only 10. I am absolutely shocked to see where it finished in this challenge. Many DPC voters can not see beyond blur. I am adding this to my favorites right now.

Excellent use of selective focus and motion to keep the one girl in focus. Very nice!

Everything looks out of focus. If it had been in focus, you may want to consider cropping it just in front of the girl in yellow.

the photo lacks focus. too much motion blur.
