Not the best of light for a portrait, and I do find the background rather distracting. That said, you have produced a portrait that is interesting and has some narrative to it. |

Image would benefit from better focus or more sharpening of the faces, and some blur or burning to eliminate the distraction of the person in the background. |

A little added contrast would help this some. Overall it's ok. Personally I don't think of more than one person being in a "portrait" setting. JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge. |

I like how their expressions contrast with each other. Even though the guy with the toothpick is not smiling with his mouth, his eyes seem amused. The other guy is smiling with his mouth, but it doesn't seem to have reached his eyes. I also like how the jacket/shirt contrast. |

I like this and I can't put my finger on why. These guys just seem mischevious or fun (neither word is right for what I'm looking for, oh well), esp the one leaning with the toothpick. I keep trying to figure out the context and what is hanging behind them. I guess that's what I like about it, I'm wondering the story. |
