I quite like the way the dramatic lighting contrasts with the undramatic facial expression. Nicely taken shot, all round. |

The broad lighting really supports this subject. The hat is perfectly placed to provide a frame for his face....great control of the situation. I can't think of anything that would have made it better....10 |

The only thing I would adjust would be the color balance. It looks like there's a slight pink cast to the picture and the skin tones suffer from this. |

Nice image, I was waiting for some images with hats or interesting wardrobe, the colors are good the lighting is great, 7. |

OK, I think this is awesome. Some people may nail you for having half of his face in a shadow, and that may have some merit, but that is what I like about the shot. We see him, partly, for who he seems to be, but also have to recognize that we can never fully know somebody. Or maybe I just like the "drama" created by the shadow. |
