 I was debating on the natural light and the paper challenge. Yes, I took the easy route. My paper idea would've been better, but I couldn't get out of the house (yes, I have 2 of these kids and when they're not taking up my time, I'm giving it to my lovely wife.)

The background was really green, so I tried to tone that down. This is also the first time I'm using that type of border. I'm liking it.

Okay, okay, okay. I won't use that border again.

Thanks all for the comments. I showed the picture to my wife (after the challenge started) and the first thing she said was, "What's with the border?"

yet another out of focus picture of a child with a strange facial expression :-D the arm looks like its almost out of socket, the angle of it makes it look really deformed

lol first of all, LOVE the title. this is a good portrait. only big problem is the ball is really in focus, but his face is a bit soft. happens to everyone. nice dof

I really don't like the border. It totally draws my eye to the outside of the frame and away from his face. A border's purpose is to "contain" the picture. This border visually crops the shot.
