I'm slightly lactose intolerant, and for whatever reason it's always worst in the Summer when I want ice cream. In fact, because I consume so little dairy just as a matter of natural preference, ice cream is my one and only problem. Occasionally I'll forget and spoon my way through a half gallon of chocolate cherry whatchagot, which isn't exactly good for you under optimum conditions, and let's just say it all ends very badly. However, Haagen-Daas came to my rescue with chocolate and mango sorbets. The chocolate is a bit like eating frozen semi-sweet chocolate frosting. Mmmm....

Oooo! Yummy. I love how everything besides the front of the container is blurred. Great blue color too!

Never had Haagen-Daas and this sounds pretty good. This is a good pic - you took something simple and filled the frame with something interesting to look at. Love that you included the spoon. Of course, you can never go wrong with chocolate!

The beautiful blue of the carton really stands out, and appropriately the background material reminds me of a picnic blanket. Good use of DOF.

I don't have a lactose problem, but I am trying to eat fewer calories. The other night I ate a Haagen Dazs milk chocolate and almond ice cream bar. Then I read the package. I couldn't believe how much fat and calories one little bar contains.

Let me recommend Sharon's Lemon Sorbet from Trader Joe's. I go through gallons of it in the summer.

I'll second Karmat's post. I was going to tell you off for using low-fat ice-cream, but you have a really good excuse :) Not at all sure I like the sound of the chocolate.. but mango sorbet? yummmmmmm

At first, I was going to chide you for doing the low-fat sorbet thing, but since you have a reason, I'll just hand you a spoon and say, "DIG IN!!"
