 Believe it or not, it has been almost two years since I last saw a movie in an actual cinema. Today I had a day off so I went to see a stinker ("Transformers"). :-/

It's turned into a beautiful afternoon, and after the movie I strolled around and passed a neighborhood 7-11, which has been temporarily transformed into a Kwik-E-Mart in honor (advertising) of the upcoming Simpsons Movie. I refrained from buying anything -- all I need is another "collectible" cluttering up my living space.

I had a composite in mind while taking these photos, not knowing there have been a few others in the last couple of days! This is the first time I've worked with gridlines, etc., and it was trickier than I expected.

I love the Simpsons. I'd heard that they had converted some select 7-11's but I hadn't seen one until your photo. Eeeeeeexellent!

I'm so jealoous they didn't turn one of our 7-11s into a Kwik-E-Mart, I know there's one in Dallas though. Those are some big pez dispensers!

What a fun shot. Nice separation with the grid. Nothing like feeling that a cartoon has come to life.

Hmmm well I both admire your restraint in not buying anything (I am a big Simpsons fan) and also your photography given that you have not used grid lines before (I love the fact that people are experimenting in this challenge)

Got to say the primary colours of the Kwik E mart sign just blaze out wonderfully on this quadtych

I like the advert board that point blank tells you "buy this simpsons stuff" - so subtle!

This is a good collage. Would you mind sending me info on how you did this? If I tried it I know I would not have evenly spaced frames like yours are.
