 This thing came cruising accross my back yard......One shot to get get it, talk about being in a hurry.....used auto focus, color balance, resized, sharpened.

The gradient border is an interesting idea, but makes the picture look like a button. The Blimp while having great detail doesn't have anywhere to go in the frame, so it looks cramped. The gradient doesn't help that. If you could have cropped so the blimp is in the upper right thirds point it would look great.

I see I'm not the only one who has trouble getting the sky to cooperate. It would have been so much better with a blue sky and a few clouds, but sometimes they are just not there! I really like the shot though and even though borders usually get the thumbs down on DPC, I really like this one - even with mother nature not cooperating with you. 8

It's just too backlit for my liking. I think a conversion to black and white with the dodging to the underside would have made a better photo.

A reasonably okay photo. I'd maybe prefer to see more blue, since I know that's what color the blimp is, but here, it looks black.

It is also too dark, a little soft, and the sky around it is colored wierd, with noise and light spots. 4.

Fun shot of the blimp, yet for me, your border choice is too much and detracts from your picture. It makes me feel like the blimp is "squished" inside that heavy frame.
