the faces!

The face is a major element conveying emotion, contrary to the challenge's title and guidelines.

Nice photo, especially of the eagle, but not faceless, and not extreme emotion.

Faceless????
07/30/2007 11:15:27 AM
Too much face for a faceless challenge
07/30/2007 12:37:39 AM
This is a fun photo, but since it relies on two faces, it hardly meets a "faceless" challenge, does it?

Great capture!! What a bird!

Nice photo, just not really suited to this challenge.

Nice and sharp but more personal value than public

I think that we have differing opinions on the meaning of faceless...

Seems technically ok and an interesting shot, but the faces are the subject of the shot, and are pretty funny. Outside the two faces, I see no emotion in this shot. Sorry - 4.

a very nice captured and clarity shot. But it's not really faceless, IMO

oh man there is faces all over but I am sure(you know and have been told this over and over again) :). As an image seperate from the challenge I like it, I see similarities in the positions of the Raptor and protector and that pleases me. I really like all the details in the feathers. If I had one critique is that the white seem to have a very slight tint of cyan, but that could be me and I am nitpicking. I really wonder what could be going on off screen that would make the handler look so surprised while holding an eagle.

does not meet challenge
07/26/2007 06:21:03 PM
Faceless
07/26/2007 11:14:44 AM
I'm not catching too much extreme emotion here that isn't part of the facial expressions.
07/26/2007 09:33:44 AM
A beautiful photo that doesn't meet the faceless part of the challenge
07/25/2007 11:08:51 PM
What's the extreme emotion here?
07/25/2007 09:16:00 PM
Superb photo. Not sure it meets the challenge title however. Only my opinion mind. Would love to score this higher than a 5. DNMC

I like the pic but can't say I know what emotion you are depicting.
07/25/2007 04:45:47 PM
I'm pretty loose on the challenge requirements but even if you don't count the person the eagle still has a face so to speak. Sorry... DNMC

pretty photo of a beautiful bird - i don't see the connection to the faceless subject however.
07/25/2007 10:47:54 AM
haha great detail in the bird but i definitely would have cropped out the giant face of the woman because her expression dominates the photo, so it doesn't really meet the challenge in my opinion
07/25/2007 09:50:09 AM
wtf? extreme emotion?
07/25/2007 09:26:54 AM
DNMC?
