 I cruised around all week looking for the "perfect" road sign. I almost gave up.

I found this one in Absecon, NJ, in a very strange area. I had to pull off the main road onto a dirt road that was covered in ice. I was going to get out of the car when i noticed a huge german shepherd... he was on a chain, but he was barking quite violently and I didn't want to chance it. I took a few shots from my car and left, sliding all over the place on ice!

The shot itself came out a little dark, and the sign came out too bright. I desaturated, cropped, and added a little bit of a reddish/greenish hue.

Dark and dull for me. A more interesting (or slightly brighter) background would have helped.

Welcome to the Hotel California!!! Nice subject. Maybe adding more contrast to the picture would have make it more clear.
