 Shot with a candle light. Pretty difficult shot to do. But the result is almost where I wanted so I am happy with it.

I like that the dark tones of this shot go along with the theme of the title, though I wish there was perhaps a little more detail in the flower...those dried edges are just lovely.

I like the abstractness of this. Doesn't fit the challenge particularly well, but it's still kind of interesting. Crop off a bit of the black at the top to fill more of the frame with the interesting parts.

First look at this I thought it was purple cabbage. Than I read the title and looked a bit closer and figured out its a rose or something. Its a nice image overall but doesn't really stir any emotions for me.

Sorry, but I'm not seeing an emotion here. The lighting is so harsh I'm also having trouble seeing that it's a flower.

I was unaware that a flower could express extreme emotion. I will think twice the next time I go to cut some for a vase.
