Hmm - I'd say the face is quite the subject, even though not the whole face. Still, I'll bet you've heard that already.
I like how the focus is sharpest the eyelashes... the tear streak (if that's what it is) is pretty subtle - I almost didn't notice it. Other than that, there's not a lot here to capture attention.
But don't let this (or other comments) dissuade you. If you like the photo and it has sentimental value to you, ignore the scores and the comments and enjoy it! |

| it's hard to not have the face as the main focus of your photograph when the only thing in the picture is a face :( |
