 Peklo is a little village in the North of the Czech Republic and it is the end of the world literally! The tiny road ends there so I had to turn the car(it was pretty difficult!)and drive back to the previous village!
Again to the explanation, Peklo is the Czech word for hell. Czech Republic has some funny village names we also have a village called America!

I thought this was a funny shot. Excuse my fellow Americans for not knowing what these signs are used for an other countries. When I first lived in Europe these signs confused me but then I figured them out. Good luck in future challenges and make sure you stay out of hell;)

I've looked at this image several times now and I must say I just don't get it. Is it really a road sign? What does the "End of Hell" signify to the motorist?

neboli konec pekla :-)) Nice to see Czechs around. The sign stands our very well from the darkness. Really like this one. The only thing I am not sure off is that red thing on the bottom of the image. Is that a bear can? It distracts a bit. Other than that, fun image.

Strong contrast in this photo. It sure makes that sign stand out. The darkness all around and the silhouettes of the trees make for a good backdrop for this kind of shot and really emphasize mood and theme. Nice job 7

Good; interesting sign. Who would've thought to make that into a sign? :)

Bad: This needs to be cropped because there is too much space around the sign. The small coke can doesn't help either. Also would have been better if the background was blurred (DOF).

Overall pretty interesting. The sign's subject matter is saving the entry.

I can't imagine why this sign would be put up....what does it represent to your culture { i realize it means "hell" but an english sign with hell crossed out still would puzzle alot of people I think}
