really nicely done. wish it would've done better. i chose this as one of my top choices for the posthumous ribbons of the week :). anyways, the composition is cool, having the door in the frame makes me wonder whats in that other room. the roses are such a nice touch and add a lot to this story. wow... the more i think about this the more and more i like it. amazing!

Morbidly fascinating! A strong contender in what I feel is a fairly weak challenge. You should do well with this despite the voters who will not like the death theme. Great job.

Interesting color choices here. Almost looks like you combined tungsten in the background with an open shade filter in the front for extreme blues and reds. Captivating. I like it.

Very Intense, Great Shock Value. Perhaps a little darker background could convey more emotion with less bright cool tones. still a wonderfull comp.

Well execute image! The blues work so well, making everything feel sad and helpless. The blood is not too gory, and the red roses bring meaning to this image, plus adding red to the background for composition. Well done.

I am having trouble with this one due to the overall blue hue of the background. Blue is generally a calming color which kind of goes against the message.
