Excellent portrayal of mood, and the exposure is handled nicely. Great B&W. |

Great surrounding for this shot!! Lighting looks pretty good, though maybe a bit bright on the floor. |

Framing is excellent, increase the shadow detail by a 1/2 stop and this photo will pop |

I like the setting and the simplicity of this. However, I don't like how strong the light source coming from the bottom of the image. |

I like the severe lighting and the location - The knife just looks a little too placed though. Still nice. |

I really enjoy your location, I love the feel of it. The light on the floor, for me is a distraction, you see that bright spot on the kickboard on the bottom of the wall, I think if the light on the floor and kickboard wasn't so overblown it would have scored much higher. There is also a bit on the top right corner that is a distraction. |

Lovely compisition. Though I am having a bit of problems with over burning/dodging. Otherwise lovely job... |

I think the picture would have worked even better without the perfectly posed knife. The knife makes the picture a bit trite. Despair is conveyed aptly though the man's posture and the construction of the room (crumbling as it is). Just a thought! I definitely like the picture though - great setting. |

This really does feel like despair! Nicely done and scary, too. You've conveyed the idea that despair can lead to anything, such as self-harm or harming another person or thing. Well executed in my opinion. 10 |
