 Thanks to my husband for putting up with this little scenario.
PP included multiple layers with various blend modes, curves, levels, channel mixer to convert in B&W, crop and filters for grain and the reddish tone.

Nice try, but if that's the subject's right arm he'd be better off just using it to release the vice!

Great idea, and I love the tones. Only complaint is that the hand in the vice appears a little soft.

pain is an interesting and difficult emotion to express. . .i like this a lot, but htink it might have been more effective without the grasping. . .just the vice and the tortured hand. my opinion. 7

Had you played more off the vise and less on the hands, this would have been a better photo.

hmmmmm i am not getting it, why would someone put their arm in a vice? is it symbolism...if so i dont get it
