An interesting choice in many ways, Don. I like the top-down angle as opposed to the standard of looking across at some objects. The shadows add quite a bit of interest. I think I might have cropped a bit off the bottom, but that's minor. Overall, I'm guessing it just didn't grab people's attention. |

Actually this is beautiful. Love the reflection of the glass. Too bad you did not save this for the shadows challenge. |

What a sublime thing you have done with the shadows here; the shapes, the colors - this is an extraordinary still life, and vastly underrated. |

The thumbnail had me believe this was some sort of tube. Then I click on it and that notion is shattered. |

I wish there was more lighting on the apple but this photo is a breath of fresh air compared to most I've seen so far. |
