 plum on broken glass on a cheap piece of plywood. setting sun light. slight crop and heightened the contrast slightly with levels.

An interesting choice in many ways, Don. I like the top-down angle as opposed to the standard of looking across at some objects. The shadows add quite a bit of interest. I think I might have cropped a bit off the bottom, but that's minor. Overall, I'm guessing it just didn't grab people's attention.

Actually this is beautiful. Love the reflection of the glass. Too bad you did not save this for the shadows challenge.

What a sublime thing you have done with the shadows here; the shapes, the colors - this is an extraordinary still life, and vastly underrated.

The thumbnail had me believe this was some sort of tube. Then I click on it and that notion is shattered.
