Challenge: Road Signs Re-revisited (Basic Editing I)

This sign is located on a little one-way country road with all of one house on it. It's a rather new sign, first time I saw it I had to take a double take at what it said... as I've never seen one of these signs before and it gave me a little giggle for some reason.

I know it's a little soft, tried to sharpen it up best I could. Rotated slightly to straighten sign and cropped, USM, Adjusted levels & curves and desaturated all colors but yellow. Added border and resized.

Road Signs was a difficult challenge this time around. Perhaps it always will be...such static subjects are hard to render with interest. You knew it wasn't the best quality image when you entered, so what can I add that would "instruct" you? Nothing.

I like signs. I like signs that make you do a "double take." Hard to put them in context for sure but you did tickle a number of voters. Isn't it nice to know that your concept was one that touched others?

Thank you for playing "closest to 5" today.

The quality of this shot is not the best. It's slightly blurry, and I wonder if this was taken in a speeding car. The sign has humor value, but the background is too distracting and 'close' to the sign. Compositionally it's fine.

Funny sign. Image seems a bit out of focus though. Could have benefited from cropping at top also.

Had a bit of motion blur in this picture. It may be interpreted as I´m turning in to blind, or that you take it with a lowest shutter speed than need. The overall is comic.

if they were able to see, i don't think they'd like what they'd see with all that dead forest.
