I thought this was a beautiful composed shot, and I like the soft glow - it really makes the concrete tactile, for some reason

This would actually be decent for a bail shot - except for the processing. The blur effect doesn't really suit the image, IMO. The composition is good and the shadow is interesting though.

Great title. Love how the signs contrast with his motion.

I hate skateboarding pictures. Luckily, this isn't a skateboarding picture. It is a picture of flight and its terrific tangle with fate. 10

Awesome. And just the bottom part, from the edge of the board on down, would make a great shadow entry.

An unusual angle this, with some good shadows which reveal his activity behind the misleading depth of field.

My immediate observation is that this is over processed for this kind of capture. The blurring looks too soft for the subject and is normally something I'd expect to see on a sentimental wedding shot. The desatutration works well though, but it just needed to be crisper and grittier for this urban scene.

The dark areas in the picture spoil the action

Great shot, but dont you just hate it when you enter into a competition and the very next week one come along (in this case shadows) which would have even better suited this stunning image

In my opinion, a stretch for the challenge. Nice capture, however.
