 With as many predators as there are making it this far is a triumph. Found this guy on a a limb with vey upset parents nearby because I was so close to their pride and joy.

Fail to see the challenge connection. Lighting is a bit rough. Looks like a flash shot at night almost.

I like the shot and the facial expression. But I don't really get Triumph, here.

Would have been more triumphant if the bird was in flight, or at least trying. Decent shot, but me personally am looking for something that looks more as though it was taken for this challenge, and not just some picture with a title that tries to connect it to the challenge. That being said, it appears slightly out of focus (or maybe a 100% crop?), also, the lighting is a little wierd. It looks like a straight-on flash which is a bit on the harsh side considering the shadows that are thrown onto the bird.

Nice fluffy image but the direct flash looks a little heavy and has made those odd eyes
