 This is a portrait of my daughter's sister-in-law who was here for a visit during the challenge time. I used her as a model for practicing taking portraits. She seemed a natural and was very photogenic.

Great expression, but the soft look doesn't really work when everything looks equally blurred - then it just looks like an out of focus image

You probably were going for soft focus however I think the focus is a little too soft, especially in the eyes. I think it would work though, if the eyes were sharp.

The softness can work here, but I'd prefer to see the eyes sharpened a bit more. I like the lighting.

She has a wonderful expression but somehow the blur doesn't work for me on this one.

really pretty girl ... wish this was in focus though ... also, the whole image has a red tint to it ... like the pose and composition of the shot ...

She looks to posed to me. Also it is way out of focus. Maybe you were going for the soft look but to soft for my taste. Also the color looks off. Pretty girl though.

Image is soft, llighting isn't the greatest. Pose is nice, but there is so much more you could do with this.
