Thanks everyone for the nice comments. Those of you who can't figure out why its a triump: its a personal triump, much like the winner. Only the 2nd time in 2 years I've got a good lightning shot. Oh to the person who asked about the orange clouds, it was actually a really low golden moon just off to the left :-)
Cheers all.

A very, very cool shot, but I don't see how lightning means triumph. |

Very interesting. I love the colors and your detail is amazing. What are the chances of getting such an amazing combination of elements in one photograph! |

Fantastic photo which I like very much but which doesn't say "triumph" to me. |

Great timing and contrast. The left side of the dock is so peaceful compared to the right side which captures the angry lightning and its double reflection. |

Very beautiful, nicely captured. Not quite sure what the triumph is though, unless it's catching lighting on camera. It's not too hard to do with a long exposure and an electrical storm, though I don't have any this nice looking =] |

Nice capture - Well caught and great colours - I keep cropping out the jetty to just above it and think it makes a stronger image as there really isn't much foreground interest - Maybe pushing the challenge a little? |
