Took this picture with a borrowed friends S3IS ... Many thanks to him and also my wife for helping me setup the subject and the lighting.
Thought about this idea at work and bent the clips to represent a person.
The light source was the light from the table lamp whose intensity was reduced by covering it with a t-shirt so that is just about falls on top the two paperclips.
The paperclips would not stay on top of the small branch.. Hence, applied a little glue to keep them in place...
As far as the postprocessing is concerned sharpened the image and removed the dust on the right side and played with the saturation in iphoto...
Let's hope it scores better than my previous entries.

i'm loving the personification shots like the banana one in faceless extremem emotion. one small thing is some of the left paper clips(?) is a little lost almost all black. i love it so much, high marks from me. funny how much emotion can be shown in inanimate objects.

Creative, but too dark. I think this would be a 10 image if the light balance was fixed. Make sure you check the shades of grey/black bar when you submit your image. Parts of the clips disappear into blackness or are distorted by it, distracting the eye from what is otherwise a very poignant and well captured scene. Your focus is nice and sharp, without oversharpness.
