there doesn't always have to be a story I think.. only the photo on it's own, with your imagination is good, too.

Maybe next time you could use a tripod to keep the rest in focus?

I just love this concept and your execution is good too :D

Interesting subject and composition, and strong processing. For some reason I can't really reach it, though; I can't find a story here. But perhaps that itself is the story: an angel with no arms and no story. Nice.

She seems almost to be falling backwards. Nice movement of the arms, or at least the impression of it. The scratches help to give the image a sense of timelessness. :)

Love your processing technique - looks like a daguerreotype. Great idea and composition - slightly off center so it gives the appearance of an accidental shot.

Neat... there's motion in this wings, which is very cool, and the sepia reinforces not just the antique quality of the imagery, but the impact overall.

Crystal, firstly I LOVE the tones of this image - they are perfect. The girl being without arms is really confronting to me, not sure why, but then that look or pure pleasure on her face reassures me - SMILE!

So very, VERY clever - well done!

you have such style. im not totally diggin her facial expression in this one, to me it takes away from the artistic essence of this shot. but i absolutely love everything else :) wonderful work Krystal!

I do like how her arms disappear. If you were to do this again, I'd like to see movement in the feathers, too, but not quite sure how to achieve that. I'm quite amazed at how still she kept her face while moving her arms!
