Well, this isn't the best photo technically. BUT it really does convey Triumph, and it does it a lot better than a lot of the more technically perfect photos in this challenge.

I absolutely love the expression on the figure to the right. Just awesome.

Good capture of triumph, but the shadows are harsh, the faces could be crisper, and the contrast is a bit flat.

You can see the triumph and defeat here, lol. Your coloring is just a tad off. Might adjust the levels a bit to remove the blue hue (really obvious on the door.)

The expressions capture it all, fitting the challenge so well that I went up a level in scoring despite the technical limitations. Besides, you have to grab the picture in the moment, so you probably didn't have had time to set up more elaborate lighting or even diffuse the flash.

Feels over exposed. Flash is too bright and is giving harsh shadows. Some of this you can fix in post processing (over exposure) but try bouncing the flash off the ceiling next time.

Cute, but over-flashed and mostly just a snapshot.

You've captured both the joy of triumph and the agony of defeat.

A great "Triumph" vs defeat moment. Lighting (shadows) and composition have this fitting more into the "snapshot" realm, though.

The lighting isn't great but boy the expressions sure are! Nice capture of the moment.

Nice fun image but has a much more personal appeal than a public one.

A fun family memory pic, but the flash is harsh, creating sharp shadows. The background's too busy, and the multiple colors clash and distract. In short, this looks like a snapshot. Again, that's fine for memories, but won't score well.
