Great detail and nice idea. Wish the net were a touch more "invisible". A shorter DOF would have done this I believe. Great colors. If you use the rule of thirds when placing your subject, you may get a little more interesting composition. :) |

Meets the challenge. Less net, more triumphant subject might work a bit better but it's nice overall. |

Not bad. Not WOW either. The net in the foreground doesn't really serve any purpose in my opinion as it doesn't add or strengten the composition, but rather distracts. I find there's too much unnecessary elements in the picture (the trees, the fence, the white sky, the net) that doesn't really help focus one's attention on the theme of triumph. I would try filling most of the frame with the subject so his expression and sense of triumph is large and in your face. The whole thing looks a little too staged. Hope that helps and good luck for future challenges. |
