Very creative use of light. It looks like the light is spilling out of the vase, which is very cool. This met the challenge very well. Great shot. |

I know it's tough to control the light streaks from the bottle, they aren't as graceful or captivating enough for me to be the main elements of your composition. |

You have certainly exhibited that you know the technique of painting with light, however, I find little artistic value here. The commonplace and drab background and dark, undistinguished bottle summon the impression that this was little more than a hasty science experiment gone bad, or maybe fireworks out of control. |

I love the light streaks. Don't like the background a whole lot. The light streak abstract on its own would do more for me. I don't like the vertical line in the middle of the piece. |

I ilke this picture, but I feel it may have a better effect without the corner of the wall clearly shown in the middle of the background. |

There are few in this category that "appear" to have painted with ligh. You clearly have. The two trails going vertically, I think would have been better had they "followed the other" giving a more "volcanic" effect. Unfortunatly the background has become a little over lit and "samey". The table top and corner appear disruptive. This is one picture where I think a more cluttered background and obviously different walls may have worked. I think it may have shown something "really weired" happening to a bottle in an ordinary domestic ituation. I suspect you enjoyed trying this and I think you should have some more goes. Keep the technique - experiment with the background.

very imaginative - the light becomes the subject painting on our imagination. Wish the vase weren't so far in the corner - maybe better on the "thirds line' and the corner (the line in the center) is a bit distracting - a flat background would be better (or is the line an artifact of the light?) |

a surreal shot, this almost looks like a jinny coming out of the bottle. |
