I really love the bluriness of this, it makes it seem as if the city is moving on around these guys. All the reflections of the various lights really ad to this. |

Cigars gag gag lol.
I'm laughing at your feeling buzzed comment and then I look at the soft focus of this photo. Great buzz effect going on here. But I really do love what that does to the lights.
Lol I am sure the dudes impressed a lot of chicks with the stalking position they have set up there. |

This is a great image and story. The image looks like the world you see when you have a nauseous, cigar, buzz. Bright and a bit fizzy. Wonderful. |

Just so you know, when I read your first line, I thought, "Is this how he plans on spending his personal days?". (sorry, I couldn't resist, lol)
I absolutely LOVE the processing, thought the guys were boozing it up, laughed at your buzz and cigar. I hope your weekend doesn't continue this way, but if the images are this good, well, heck, who cares? :) |

Larry, you've got to start submitting some of these killer photos to challenges. This is another amazing one - lighting, composition - all awesome. Sorry to hear you were queasy from the cigar(you're not supposed to inhale, you know :o)), but I'm glad for the photo that resulted from you smoke. This is just fantastic. |

There's a lot that makes this picture work well. You have the two guys just relaxing, contrasted by the movement in the background. The strong (but not garish) colors are concentrated mid-photo, but reflected nicely on your verticals. The lines on the ground leading up to the street lead the eye back to the center after exploring the higher contrast areas. Outstanding job, Larry. |

Nice candid, and those reflected colors are great.
As for the cigar, you got what you deserved! 8) |

I love how the garish lights behind them draw the eye at first but then you see the men sitting there and the whole thing comes together - ping! OK, sometimes I have strange ideas, but the fact is that this is a really cool shot regardless of my zany and inadequate attempts to describe the reason. :) |
