What I like most about this one is that the blur distorts the dog so much that it actually changes the appearance of the dog... into a cartoony, perhaps a little scary, sort of creature. |

This shot drew me in from thumbnail. I was drawn to the lines and colors first off, but it was the overall texture of the shot that kept me the extra bit longer. It almost feels like you could reach into the screen and touch it. That it would have hard underbody to it but also an almost furry soft touch on top as well. Like most of the pictures I prefer here there is a flow and movement to the shot that is very appealing. I may have tweaked the blacks to make them just a bit more prominent, but overall I enjoyed this image very much. Just enough blur to almost make it abstract but not enough to totally hide what the subject matter was. (from the blurgeois thread) |

Sweet - like a ghost dog. Colors are great and the placements in the photo, too. |

Kind of reminds me of a Picasso painting with the distortion of the face and background! I think the Lucis and neat image add to the overall look of the abstract too.
And hey. ..I kinda think if you can bring artistic blur into a photo and make it look natural an dawesome via photoshop skills. . . .bravo!

The blur makes it look like she's about to attack! Love it. |

Nice interplay of colors, and the dog that's recognizable as a dog, but not quite, with the odd truncation of the body. This is a cool shot. |

I was gonna say she looks squashed, but Deb said it better:) It's funny, although shes running her feet are all next to each other and she appears stationary... |

Interesting how the motion of her running has shortened her it seems! Love the monochromatic nature of the browns and whites. |
