I think this has alot going for it, the diagonal lines of the kayaks, the sense of motion, and summertime....I wonder if we would feel this was a great image normally, with all the glare from the water? A B&W conversion could make this more powerful by eliminating the bleached out feel to the light.
What I am finding from this blur work is that I now concentrate more intently on other aspects of an image to make it appealing to the viewer since focus is no longer an issue :)

This almost exactly nails how I feel about my 2 years in grad school in Seattle. It was 1991-1993. I lived in Washington, DC before that period and I returned and have lived here ever since. Grad school was a fantastic experience, and my soul still feels at home in Seattle, but the whole thing feels a bit like an out of focus dream. |

Isn't it terrific that we just see the image as colors and shapes, without worrying about sharp anything? Great fun here. I love the overall theme of blue and white. |
