 I finally got into the big town of Socorro today to do some chores, woo hoo! I'm keeping an eye on a friend's cat while he's on vacation, so I visit her every other day.

I got lots of fun shots on my excursion and it was hard to choose just one, but this was one of my favorites. This is someone's front yard, taken while I was driving by. I went a little over the top with LucisArt Whyeth filter on purpose, I liked the unreal look it gave the somewhat odd scene.

It looks like a picture oout of a children's book or something, like briar rabbit :) I love the processing!!

Fantastic! It's very surreal looking in a mundane kind of way. I love the antlers draped over the fence. Colors are awesome and the blue from the car window adds a nice accent.

kind of cool - you gotta love those small town yards - not that big cities don't have, they just seem more common in rural America.

I like the processing...I wasn't familiar with LucisArt (I've seen it mentioned a few times), but I had to check it out...this effect seems similar to HDR processing.

This almost looks like it has "stepped out" of one of those 3D clay animation things. cool composition
