In IMO the sun is totally wrong for the rest of the mood of the image. Would have rated this much higher without it.

I love the way the line of the water curves across, and I like the gull. But were it me, I'd ditch the sun. Whether it's real or not, it doesn't seem real, which throws off the balance of the shot to me.

I love the softness and tones of the beach and waves, but something about the sun just doesn't look right.

I like the placement of the sun fairly well, but the red line around it makes it look a bit fake. Otherwise very well done.

Love the feel of the ocean here - Wish there was a bit more foreground interest and the sun is a little too fake looking.
