Dragons tend to be popular individuals who are always full of life and enthusiasm, with a reputation for being fun-loving. They make good priests, artists and politicians.

Famous people born in the Year Of The Dragon:
Vidal Sassoon, Fats Domino, Bob Monkhouse, Jimmy Tarbuck, Al Pacino.

Basically printed out a shot of the sky, then placed the dragon in front & snapped some shots. Spent oodles of time cloning & healing the shadow out so it appeared authentic. Auto levels check, a bit of sharpen & depeckle, hues/sats, added border & cropped.

The dragon is ready to fly away, just into the space between clouds, but yet he can fry you if you step forward any further. :-)) The dragon is hot - the sky is cool.

I gave this shot +6 and wonder why did it fall back so much?

cool idea, statue against a pic or print out maybe? wallpaper? I'm not sure, but it's too grainy, then again...it has a very retro 70's look that looks intential and I like it alot. Very Bruce Lee.

Nice background and framing. The dragon looks to be a bit overlit. Good entry.

Nice idea, pretty good execution. I love how the statuette loses all sense of its real size in this composition. I can't make out the head of the dragon very well for some reason and that's frustrating. I love the colors.

I like the wb, tinting the clouds with the red of the fire breath. A nice touch. I wonder, though, if a deep dof wouldn't have helped, as I feel that the clouds needed to be a touch more in focus, less bokeh. 6

I think a nice cropping would've made this photo so much nicer.

Good composition. The clouds have a magenta tint which is probably intentional. The foreground subject looks hazy on my monitor.
