Thanks to all those that commented and voted. Sorry to be so late. I also got hammered because my initial description had 12 year old, and of course she caught it. How embarrassing :) |

I really like this photo for what it is and what it isn't. You can say so much about this picture, look at it again and have another thought in a totally different direction. |

This is one of my favs. I know the difficulties to paint a living model. This is nicely done, the blur here gives a great mood on the composition . 10 |

If you crop the top of this picture off - It immediately reminds me of the Mona Lisa - Immensly so.
I absolutly love it. By the strict photographic definition of painting with light, I do not think it would have got through the fist stage in any of the professional competition I have judged. BUT it is such a good picture, I cannot mark it down for that. I am not sure of the original resolution etc, but I would consider DEFINATELY submitting it to a music magazine as a cover photo (in which case DO NOT crop the top!)

This has a certain appeal. She is lovely ...the hair with the light and the softness. Very attractive shot. Congrats on a good shot for the challenge. I like to see more shots but a closer portrait. |

I like the idea here, but the blur differences on the face and the hands/ violin make the image unsettling for me. 5 |

She looks very forlorn. I'm not sure how that fits in with the violin, but this effect is very well done. |
