From Critique Club.
The dogs look exactly like that when they are seeking mice... Nice expression caught! Interesting contrast of colors - they complement each other somehow.
I would prefer the second paw visible - for the balance and put the right eye closer to the center of the image. Some side-lighting of the head would not hurt either. |

This is very unusual almost like a painting I love your dog and it looks very good with the background Did you do something special to this? I dont think this is a winner but it does have a great deal going for it Well done!

Nice pose but the light source is too direct, leaving nasty shadows etc.
background should be ok, just try better lighting and maybe mounting on a tripod would sharpen it up a little. |

| beautiful dog, the photo could be better with different lighting [less shadow] .. do you get dog hair in your food? Been thinking of getting the same puppy.. |

| I think better posing and improved lighting (less pronounced shadowing) would have helped this photo greatly. |

| Lovely Golden , looks young must have lots of energy?I would like to see all of the dog in the picture and shot outdoors would provide more light. |
