Thanks for the comments. If I'd had any control over the snake's position, my angle for the shot, or the lighting, I might have changed some or all of them. But the zoo frowns on people breaking the glass and climbing in to rearrange or re-light a snake big enough to eat a small gazelle. :)

Nice detail but not sure about the lighting for this
Fits the challenge

I bet it is a beautiful snake but I wish I could see more of the head. I think it would be better if I could see the natural color of the snake and not be distracted by the color of the lights on its body.

I can see lots of scales, but the composition makes it difficult to really identify the snake.

Great detail, Im sure there is a snake somewhere.

Nice color, DOF, and exposure. Hard to recognize content at first, would have liked the focal point to be more prominent or conspicuous.

The red doesn't worjk for me.

Beautiful and it's great that it takes a minute to realize where the head is. The light and shadows are great but the foreground out of focus takes away from the overall power of the shot for me.

Unusual, abstract composition to this image, I really had to look for the head of the snake. Well done.

Really nice colours and texture. It's kind of an abstract shot, which I really like about it.
