Maybe its not to clear in the photo but the larger fish had attempted to eat a smaller fish and it was stuck in its mouth and caused his death. This was taken as it floated down the Kennet and Avon Canal. I had to up the ISO to 1600 to get this so there is some noise present.

In my view, not all shots need to be pleasing on the eye - but engaging. This makes me stop to look and find the twist - too little imagination round these parts. |

I don't get the title at all. With the head being twisted away the image fails to hold appeal or interest for me. |

Very good capture and I like the gloomy, low-key take on the challenge.Shot is a little ill-defined and extremes of contrast, but I like it. |

eww...and umm..well, i just dont know about pictures of dead animals and all....you know, even if it is creative.... |
