Almost didn't get to take this photo because of bad weather but a window of opportunity opened and I got my chance.
It was supposed to be aprox 15 balloons that were going to take off at sunset from this location fly away and land a couple of miles away, (Yeah 15 hotair balloons flying off into the sunset the same day that a free study speed challenges is announced. Imagine how that feels) anyway they then pack up everything and return, set up again and light them up as a lead up to a fireworks show, but because of the previous and expected storms the flight was canceled and only a few of the balloons were lit up. This yellow beast was the most colorful of the 3 one was the famous Red White and Blue ReMax, other was pure red which by itself looked pretty cool but they had it too close to the other balloon to get a decent shot with out ReMax getting into frame and still manage to keep wires and other annoying obsticles out of the shot. I think you will all like this one better anyway.
I will add more photos of this event to my portfolio once I get them processed.
Post processing, I Adjusted Colors, Levels and Contrast, Reduced Noise USM, Exposure and Gamma corrections, Curves, Cloned out a wire, dodge and burn. Resized sharpened saved for web. |
