I love the haloaround his/her head. I might "draw" the whisksers with the sharpen tool to give them a bit more pop. Great focus and DOF.

Nice background colors. I think you might have been able to pull out the eyes a little more.. but a nice shot all around.

lovely pet portrait! I like the colors a lot but for some reason it almost looks like the background was photoshoped in which takes away from the natural detail in the cat hair.
