This is a very smooth and calming piece. the chess pieces, i think, have quite a presence on the table. Their soft image is very strong and i think works very well. I like the colors and saturday of the image and the framing was a good choice. Good interesting background, which keeps my interesting. Good job.

I love the color and seeming glow to the chess pieces. Unfortunately I dont really care for the background. Having it shot in landscape mode gives it a lot of negative space on either side, and I'm not sure if that was your plan as it does look like clouds that certainly give a sense of expanse. As the chess pieces are vertical, especially enlongated with the shadow, I think a portrait orientation may have been better. I really do like the color/tone/lighting on the chess pieces, though!

I like a lot the tiny suggestion of the opposite color in the reflection.
May be a tiny bit lighter figurines? Otherwise the image is perceived not as a whole - the sight is drawn to the darker center. ++9
