no, still quite dull - no contrast - the bird isn't even looking into the camera, and the colors are flat. Next time, shoot when bright and sunny, with a little cloud and see the difference ;)

Yes. I would have lifted my score quite a bit. I like the image and this gives it some strength

Too me still a little bland, in that I can't see the animal's (in this case bird's) eye. Normally that is the part people relate to the most as convaying expression.
