 Day 45 Character Goods

I cast my eye around for what I could take today for the theme. And here's one of the mascots from the Movix multiplex cinema chain. I went to see Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix last week, and someone gave me this paper clip holder. He's called Pico, and he's one of the Hippoco Brothers.

The lighting was a kind of accident. I had the object on a black cloth with a bedside lamp beside it; I shielded the flash with my hand so that the light didn't fall directly on the subject. There were funny shadows on the cloth, so I painted them out. ;-Þ

Oh, what a funny idea for a paper-clip holder! Would be even funnier used for straight pins, which is what we used a magnetized paperclip holder for at my grandmother's house. :)

This thing is so bizarre... didn't know hippos had such a thing for paper clips. Nice crisp and clear image.
