Taken in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. We drive this way every couple of weeks and I've been really wanting to try the Sigma 10-20 on the tall buildings. This wasn't our regular Michigan trip but we were coming back from vacation and decided to stop and take some pictures for the challenge.

I thought this was top notch I love the line of the sun coming right at me. I gave this a nine the reflections of the sun seem to make an arrow right to the buildings. I like.

Nice shot Ken. I waffled a bit on the reflection, but I think it distracts more than enhances.

I like the idea but having a line drawn right down the middle is bad composition unless the symettry of the photo supports it. In this photo it doesn't.

Really cool shot. Great lighting and the water is cool.

I like the title and the tones but the composition is a little too centralised for my personal taste.

Nice black and white conversion especially in how the clouds and sky appear. I really like the streak of light in the water. Were it narrower it would divide the image but its width creates a nice pair of lines to the vanishing point.

The tree on the right really doesn't fit here. Hard to say how to get rid of it though. Zooming in would reduce the bridge to the left. Moving left would love that line down the middle. Moving forward doesn't look like an option unless you have a boat or a snorkel. If there is a way to shoot this without the tree to the right I'd like to see it in any event.

What is that white line in the water??? great sot. IMHO, it could use a boost in contrast, however. 6 as it is.

Very nice B&W cityscape but I think the overall image would benefit from a little less water...7
