 Outtake for Children's Toy challenge:


My first thought when I was editing this image was for the selective desaturation but because of editing limits I couldn't do it.

I got comments about the over saturation, I edited the submitted image on a laptop and forgot that it usually goes more than it appears so sorry about that. It should also be pointed out that the red part of the drum was something like felt not painted wood so there really isn't much detail there.

PP steps:
-selective colors adjust
-desate with mask for selective
-duplicate layer and apply gaus blur
-mask blur layer to recover boys sharpness
-contrast adjust
-resize
-USM and save

Oh that is too bad this was basic editing. This is an awesome photo. The OOF background plays a great contrast with the child. Good photo!
