 We are getting DELUGED here in Central and East Texas! Anyone taking outside photos here yesterday or today will be sporting rain photos for sure, so here's mine.

For some reason, I've always loved splashy rain photos anyway, so I'm kind of glad I had an excuse to take some. A couple of guys walking to a convenience store spotted me taking these pictures and they kept looking around trying to figure out what in the world I found interesting enough to take pictures of. I think they thought I was nuts. . ..but it wasn't the first or prob'ly the last time photography has gotten me strange looks like someone wondered about my sanity :)

Great timing! You captured the splash so well. Wide crop works well also.

Excellent capture! Looks like the driverless car from hades bursting through the veil between life and death to come get you...well, maybe that's a bit too dramatic :-) But I love it! We've been getting some too here in NM, but not like you have in TX... try to stay dry!

Yikes. I can't even imagine how much rain you guys have had. I'm sure my yard is a disaster area about now. I even got a letter from the homeowner's association that I needed to do something about the weeds - tough to do from here!

Oh, and I like the shot - what fun!!
