 While I have the most fun with my cat blur images, I've been inspired by the wonderful abstract shots folks have been posting so I thought I'd try something different. These are actually just some small pale yellow weeds of some sort. I moved the camera while exposing to get the blur, then did a lot of post processing including levels to increase contrast and darken background, selective color to get more orange than yellow, then a touch of Whyeth. Still a far cry from the great abstract flowers I've seen by others, but I had fun with it nonetheless!

Great colors in this image. The way you captured the blur makes it look like flames. I like it.

Something about this is really beautiful. I love the contrasts and the ripling, waving textures on the stems and leaves, they give the image an almost 3D look, despite the fact it's blurred. Very neat.

Oh yes! Abstract suits you very well! This turned out awesome. You can tell its flowers, but the color and the motion make it look like fire. Excellent!
