He's so cute! It's almost like he is meditating in the sun. Love the shadow too. Great perspective for this shot - it's like we are at his level, enjoying the sun with him. |

It's wonderful for you to have achieved exactly what you set out to do. Congratulations on a well composed shot. I think his somber expression is a hoot. I really enjoy looking at this little creature. The focus and DOF are great. |

Actually I think the use of the strong sideways light and dof to separate the prairie dog from the same color background is very good. Such a strange pose for the little critter. |

Cute little guy. Would like a little more detail in the eye, if possible. |

There is something very unattural about the lighting, guess it´s taken at a zoo indoors or did you actually use an off camera flash from the right to light this? Anyway, the harsh lighting and shadow just don´t seem to fit with this image in my opinion. |

Great capture! I like how you have not cropped the shadow. Good work. |

Nice cute shot, his chest is a bit blown out but nice dof. I think I would prefer him to be looking in to the shot, |

This would have been nicer if you'd cropped the critter to the left third IMHO. |
